Cause
This difficulty generally occurs due to corruption in the PST file. The corruption may occur due to partial recover of the file or missing parity bits. To solve the corruption issue you need to run scanpst.exe on the PST file.
After completing the process of scanpst.exe, you will be able to import the PST file into your Outlook account. But you will find that only the file structure is available there. Your important emails and other precious Outlook data will remain invisible and inaccessible.
At this point of time, you need to think of the PST recovery software to repair your damage PST file and make it accessible. PST recovery software are third party applications, specifically designed to perform PST repair in cases of PST corruption.
