Create New Profile in Outlook 2003 and 2007

The outlook profile contains your valuable email accounts and address book. You can create more than one profile according to your need and suitability. To create a outlook profile in 2003 or 2007 fallow the steps given below-

1. Open your control panel menu then click to classic view and then double click on mail.
2. Open the show profile in mail setup.
3. Open Prompt for a profile to be used in the general tab and then add it.
4. Give your profile in the profile name box and then click ok.
5. Add new email account in the E-mail accounts dialog box and then click ok.
6. Choose the appropriate sever type for your new email account then click next.
7. Then finish and click ok

Your outlook address book and the personal folders (.pst) files are automatically added to each new e-mail profile, except those email profile that is create in Microsoft exchange server.

If you want to configure your mail with specific email profile go on general tab click always use this profile under when starting Microsoft Office Outlook, use this profile. In always use this profile list, click the profile that you want to use, and then click ok.

This way you can create your new profile and configure it. But always handle your pst file with care. Use antivirus and make backup of your pst file. So that you may not face the problem of your pst file corruption or lost. Since your pst file contains your important data. In case you lost your pst file need not to worry.
